Juggling Kids and Canvases

As a work-at-home mom, I perform a wide variety of tasks throughout the course of a day. Most of these tasks are simple when taken by themselves, but when you combine them all together in the space of a single day, things can get a little chaotic.

Changing a diaper: simple (some diapers are more complicated than others, I'll grant you that).
Catching a tossed object: usually pretty simple
Painting: calm, quiet work, albeit mentally intense sometimes.
Cooking: sometimes a bit hectic depending on where you're at in preparing the meal.

Abandoning your paint palette to change one of "those" diapers and trying to act quickly before the acrylic dries; in the meantime, dodging an object tossed by the other child (since you can't catch it while changing the diaper) and hearing the timer for the oven go off indicating that the dish needs to come out: NOT SO SIMPLE.

Juggling kids and canvas can be tricky.
